FIRST PLACE

These youngsters won first place in the trio division in the U.S. Sports Acrobatics National in Dayton, Ohio. They competed in level III in the 11- through 13-year-olds division. They are Lauren Labiche, top, from Metairie; Jennifer Bertram, bottom left, of Metairie; and Ashley Burke, bottom right, of Destrahan. All of them are members of the Elmwood Gymnastics Academy. Raisa Galper is their coach.
